The main reason fans would want to see Yoda is to see the Jedi Master interact with Grogu. Still, seeing a force ghost of Yoda is sure to put a smile on any fan’s face. Like Obi-Wan, odds are fans won’t see other legendary Star Wars characters like Yoda make an appearance. Ewan returning once may have spoiled fans, but that doesn’t mean wanting to see him return again is unwarranted. Seeing Ewan McGregor play an older Obi-Wan who talks with Luke or Ahsoka would be a fun surprise for fans. However, it is possible for Kenobi to appear as a force ghost. This means Kenobi has already fallen at the hands of his former apprentice. The show, of course, follows the events of the original trilogy. It is unlikely the famed Jedi will make an appearance, but fans are still hoping to see Ewan Mcgregor return in Mandalorian season 3. She will likely make a surprise appearance before her Ahsoka debut. She is also no stranger to the Dark Saber, which Din currently wields. Seeing the two converse would be great for fans and could lead to character development for Din. Having ties to Madalore could give her much to discuss with Din. She was one of the main characters in the animated series Rebels and is set to make her live-action debut in the Ahsoka series. Sabine is an ex-Mandalorian who joined up with the Rebels. Of all the characters on this list, Sabine is most likely to make an appearance. Seeing how the Empire is still a thorn in Mando’s side, having an ex-Imperial officer helping him will prove invaluable. Battlefront II’s campaign is currently canon, so it is very possible she will appear. Iden was a loyal Imperial officer until she switched to being a Rebel following the Battle of Endor. One of the most underrated pieces of Star Wars media is the campaign mode for EA’s Battlefront II. Seeing the titular Mandalorian go tow to tow with the legendary Bossk will show just how capable Mando is, as this fight will put him to the ultimate test. It is likely Bossk will be hired to track him down and take out anyone in his way, including Din. The fading remnants of the Empire are likely still on the hunt for Grogu. One of the most infamous Bounty Hunters of all time would fit right at home in Mandalorian season 3. Several fan-favorite characters have made the jump from animation to live-action in The Mandalorian, so fans hope their favorite rouge clone will be among them. There isn’t an official canon explanation as to his whereabouts post-Return of the Jedi, so Mandalorian could be a perfect place to retcon that. In fact, many suspects he joined the rebel alliance and fought in the Battle of Endor. Captain Rexįans have long speculated that Captain Rex survived the events of Order 66. His counterpart, R2D2, has already appeared in both the second season as well as the spin-off show The Book of Boba Fett. C-3POĪ brief cameo from C-3PO would be a welcome addition to MandalorianSeason 3.
